Diary of A Wimpy Kid 2: Roderick Rules

Family/Comedy, Rated PG, 99 Minutes
Starring: Zachary Gordon, Devon Bostick, Robert Capron, Peyton List

Now in Year 7, wimpy Greg Heffley is smitten with the pretty new girl Holly, but big brother Rodrick, who aspires to be a rock star, is on hand to kill his confidence. When the tension between the siblings escalates, Greg’s mother Susan suggests they spend more time together, but predictably there are ups and downs as they bond over forbidden parties and silly pranks. Meanwhile Greg’s best friend Rowley is disappointed when Greg refuses to be part of his magic act for the local talent quest, thinking Holly will think him a nerd.

International Women’s Day Art Competition

The City of Ryde is proud to support the annual International Women’s Day art exhibition.

The exhibition invites entries in all art forms which reflect this year’s local International Women’s Day theme promoting the Resilience and Empowerment of women and the International theme of ‘Connecting Girls, Inspiring Futures’. The theme focuses on improving the economic,

social and political lives of women of the future by enhancing the choices for the girls of today.

Would you like to include a work in this exhibition? We are seeking art works celebrating this year’s theme.

The exhibition is open to all artists, with women and girls particularly encouraged to submit their art works.

All submitting artists should live, work, study or play within the Ryde Local Government Area.

Entries must be submitted with completed Entry Form at Brush Farm House on Friday 2 March 2012 from 4.30 – 7.30pm. Entrants whose work is selected for exhibition will be notified by email.

The exhibition, which is an initiative of the City of Ryde Status of Women Advisory Committee, will be held at Brush farm House Gallery, 19 Lawson Street, Eastwood from Thursday 8 March – Saturday 10 March.
